Jeff Craig Booth

Jeff Booth, age 53, of Dent, MN, died Sunday, February 21, 2021 at his home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley and his loving family. Jeffrey Craig was born September 9, 1967 in Fridley, MN, to Craig and Judy (Olson) Booth. He was baptized at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Dent, MN. He attended school in Pelican Rapids, graduating from Pelican Rapids High School in 1986. He graduated from Fergus Falls Community College and later graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with degrees in Accounting and Economics. Jeff worked as an accountant at Pickett and Nygaard CPA in Fergus Falls, MN, Eide Bailly in Fargo, ND, and Bell Farms in Wahpeton, ND. Then Jeff worked as a commercial lender for Alerus Financial and currently at Western State Bank, Fargo, ND. On August 14, 1999 Jeff married Lori Erickson at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Dent, MN. Jeff played football for Pelican Rapids High School and later Fergus Falls Community College. Jeff enjoyed farming, camping, hiking, snowmobiling, hunting, and spending time outdoors. The most important thing in Jeff’s life was his family and spending time with them. Jeff is survived by his wife Lori; children: Travis (Sarah) Grahn, Tanner (Autumn Klug) Grahn, Tyler Booth, Jennifer (Brandon Sivertson) Booth, Aleya Booth, Kiera Booth, and Vanassa Booth; 3 grandchildren: Kaden, Nora, and Kelsey Grahn; his parents Craig and Judy Booth; sisters: Debra Blank and Wendy (Wayne) Mooney; brothers: Michael (Priscilla) Booth, Matthew Booth and Douglas Booth; numerous brothers and sisters-in-law; and many nieces and nephews. Memorials preferred to City of Hope Comprehensive Brain Cancer Research Center in Duarte, CA and American Cancer Society Hope Lodge in Rochester, MN. Walk Through Visitation: Wednesday, February 24, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pelican Rapids, MN. (Facemasks are required) Celebration of Life: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pelican Rapids, Minnesota with Pastor Eric Schwirian and Allen Westby, S.A.M. officiating.
