September 20, 1937 — July 23, 2021

Harold Wallace (Wally) Davis, 83, of Vergas, MN passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021. Wally was born September 20, 1937 in Pelican Rapids, MN the son of Earl and Bernice (Rice) Davis. He was raised on the family farm near Dent, MN, attended District 166 Country Schoolhouse and Pelican Rapids High School. He was quite skilled in all things mechanical, working as a carpenter, truck driver, and heavy equipment operator for Egge Construction. He was probably best known for his skill as a skid-steer operator, and his ability to finish a job well. He was an active member of Vergas Lions Club serving as president for two terms and he also received the Melvin Jones Award. Wally enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing pool, and golfing. Wally was preceded in death by his parents Earl & Bernice Davis, brother Gerald, and infant daughter Kathryn.
