Gordon Dennis Skunberg

Gordon Skunberg, age 77, of Erhard, MN, died Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Riverfront on Main, Pelican Rapids, MN under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Gordon Dennis was born June 18, 1943 in Pelican Rapids, MN, to Alvin and Nelia (Dahlen) Skunberg. He attended school in Pelican Rapids, MN. He farmed with his dad and mom. He worked at Mid AMPI Dairy in Pelican Rapids, MN for Duane Farnam and Dairy Farmers of America for 19 years in Fergus Falls, MN before retiring. On September 8, 1973 Gordon married Myrna Pearson at First Lutheran Church in Detroit Lakes, MN. Gordon enjoyed snowmobiling and fishing. He was active at Grace Lutheran Church, Erhard 4th of July, Fergus Falls YMCA, and Erhard Men’s coffee group. Gordon is survived by his wife Myrna, son Kyle (Shelley) Skunberg, two grandchildren: Zechariah and Bethanie Skunberg, brothers: Arlen Skunberg, Merle (Avonne) Skunberg, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents, two infant brothers and sister-in-law Diane Skunberg. Visitation: Monday, June 14, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, Erhard, MN.
