Donald Walter Muckey

Donald Muckey, age 77, a resident of Frazee, Minnesota, died on Monday, June 29, 2020, at his residence. Donald Walter was born February 3, 1943 in Fergus Falls, MN, to Melvin and Clara (Ferguson) Muckey. He grew up near Erhard, MN. Donald took some Agriculture classes in Detroit Lakes Technical College. He worked at West Central Turkeys in Pelican Rapids, MN for many years. In July 1989, he married Rosalee Linstrom. Donald and Rosalee operated M&M Turkeys in Frazee for several years. Donald also drove truck for Ray Johnston and Dave Sabin until he retired in 2015. Donald enjoyed collecting knives, guns, World War II memorabilia and his rusty metals. Donald is survived by his children: Duane Muckey, Brian (Amy) Muckey, Dale Muckey, Duke Muckey, Jim (Danita) Matykiewicz, Richard (Laura) Matykiewicz, Christine (Robert) Link, Judith Lancaster, Hailey (Joseph) Egginger; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sister Esther Matthews, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Rose. Visitation will be Monday, July 6, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m., at Larson Funeral Home, Pelican Rapids, Minnesota with Pastor Michael Buller officiating.
