Clara Peasley, age 84, of Erhard, MN, died Friday, August 2, 2019 at her residence. Clara Lee was born May 2, 1935 in Buse Township near Fergus Falls, MN, to Thomas and Agnes (Bertram) Lee. She attended District #31 school in rural Fergus Falls, then graduated from Fergus Falls High School. Clara was united in marriage with Gordon Mostue and Patty was born from this union. For many years Clara was a waitress at numerous restaurants near Fergus Falls. Then she married Clarence Peasley and from this union, Vicki was born. Clara owned and operated the Village Inn, Erhard, MN from 1980-1985. She also helped Clarence when he owned Peasley’s Greenhouse near Erhard, MN. For more than 35 years, Clara worked at West Central Turkey Plant until her retirement. She enjoyed baking, cooking, working on crossword puzzles, putting puzzles together and watching murder mysteries. She is survived by daughters: Patty (Terry) Michelson, Fergus Falls, MN; Vicki (Kevin) Emery, Erhard, MN; 3 grandchildren: Amanda (Shawn) Peasley, Justin (Tessa) Emery, Jessica (Shorty) Emery; 5 great-grandchildren; brother Floyd Lee, Fergus Falls, MN; sisters: Gladys Hanson & Lynette Ripley of Fergus Falls, MN and Helen Graber, Spokane, WA; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Earl (Evelyn), Clifford (LaVerne), Marvin (Dorothy Mae), Charley (Carol) and Wodrow (Lucille); sisters: Dorothy (Rangvald Lindely), Goldie (Arnold Neumann), Hazel (Regnar Jenson), Sylvia (Carl Miller, George McCollough), and an infant sister, Minnie. Per Clara’s wishes no funeral services are planned at this time. Please keep the Peasley family in our thoughts and prayers.
