Candace Cook

Candace Cook, age 62, of Vergas, MN, died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Pelican Valley Senior Living, Pelican Rapids, MN. Candace Leigh was born October 14, 1958 in Richland, WA, to Larry and Elizabeth (Cook) Pochae. Candace was a seamstress working on upholstery most of her life. On 1988 Candace married J.R. Pierce in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. They moved to rural Vergas, MN in 1993. Candace made quilts for her family members. She enjoyed watching and helping J.R. with his stock cars racing. Candace thoroughly enjoyed entertaining at their home until she got sick. She also loved arts, crafts, and classic cars. Candace is survived by her family members: J.R. Pierce, Kyle (Jo) Garcia and family; Darrell (Sandy) Howard, Brend Howard, Lisa Cox Froslie, Jade (Bengi) Neal and family, Larry Pocach, and Nich Garcia and family.
