REMEMBERING THE LIFE OF...Ida Lydia Weinmeister was born June 26, 1914, in Rhein, Saskatchewan, Canada, the daughter of George and Susanna (Werner) Weinmeister. At the age of nine, Ida?s family moved to Spokane, Washington, and later to Portland, Oregon. In 1933 Ida married Royal Wyland Donohue in Portland. Ida had lived in India, Germany, and spent many years on the Oregon Coast. Over the years Ida worked as a Christian Science Nurse in San Francisco, California. Roy died in 1959. In 1970 Ida married Robert Bouman in San Francisco. Robert died in 1977. 2002 Ida moved to Pelican Rapids and entered Pelican Valley Nursing Home in January of 2006.Ida was a member of the Christian Science Mother Church. Ida loved traveling to India, the Orient and Europe. She enjoyed Chinese Brush Painting.Ida, age 92, a resident of Pelican Rapids, MN, died on Saturday, October 14, 2006, at Pelican Valley Nursing Home in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.Ida is survived by her daughter: Sharon Donohue of Pelican Rapids; son: Robert (Lynn) Donohue of Gresham, Oregon; 8 grandchildren: Artimis (Matthew Romanelli) Alcyone of Seattle, WA, Tabitha (Kevin Neu) Stewart-Neu of Pelican Rapids, Cooper (Lisa) Stewart of Pelican Rapids, Aian Stewart of Pelican Rapids, Keiran (Peggy) Stewart of Fort Dix, New Jersey, Norman (Shelly) Donohue of Lake Oswego, OR, Karen (Casey) Cochran of Warrenton, OR, DeAnna Donohue of Portland, OR, and Evan Donohue of Gresham, OR; 13 great-grandchildren including the local great-grandchildren: Keenan Neu, Amber Hagle, Jenell, Neacail and Mia Stewart.She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands: Royal and Robert; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.Blessed Be The Memory Of Ida Bouman
