Mae Jensen

REMEMBERING THE LIFE OF...Mae Deloris Hanson was born May 2, 1928, in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, the daughter of Friedtjhof B. and Calma (Kind) Hanson. She was a graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead, and had taught at Rothsay High School, in Rothsay, MN, for one year prior to her marriage. On June 24, 1950 Mae was united in marriage to Warren Jensen. Warren and Mae lived in Duluth, MN, before living in the Providence of Quebec, Canada, from 1957 to 1966. The family moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and in 1970 to Canfield, Ohio.Mae will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Canfield Presbyterian Church and a former member of Eastern Star.Mae, age 78, a resident of Canfield, Ohio, died on Friday, January 12, 2007, at the Park Vista Care Center in Canfield.She is survived by her husband, Warren of Canfield; 3 children: David D. (Amy) Jensen of Topsham, Maine, Chris C. Jensen of Tucson, Arizona, and Karren S. (Mark) Kandel of Louisville, Ohio; 3 grandchildren: Karris and Christopher Kandel, and Eva Jensen; and a brother, Odin C.
