Margaret Meidinger, age 91, a resident of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, died on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Center.Margaret Viola Van Erem was born October 20, 1916, in Big Stone City, South Dakota, the daughter of William and Matilda (Bell) Van Erem. She grew up and attended school in Fargo, North Dakota. On October 9, 1942 Margaret was united in marriage to Julius Meidinger at Grace Methodist Church in Moorhead, Minnesota. Julius and Margaret made their home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where Margaret worked at a Target Store until her retirement. After retirement, they built a home on Tamarac Lake, near Pelican Rapids. In 1996 Julius and Margaret moved into Pelican Rapids. After fracturing her hip in 2001, Margaret entered the Good Samaritan Center on September 11, 2001, and decided to stay there to be with Julius.Margaret enjoyed baking and crocheting. She is survived by her husband, Julius of Pelican Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 sisters: Jessie Shaleen and Florence Nelson; and a brother, Harold Van Erem.Blessed Be The Memory Of Margaret Meidinger
