Eunice Johnson

Eunice Elizabeth Waller was born June 8, 1912, in Pelican Rapids, the daughter of Syver and Hannah (Svare) Waller.She was baptized and confirmed at Ringsaker Lutheran Church, in Pelican Rapids.After Eunice graduated from Pelican Rapids High School, she attended Jamestown College in Jamestown, North Dakota.She was employed at Swan Drug in Pelican Rapids.On August 28, 1941, Eunice was united in marriage to Martin Johnson in Pelican Rapids.Martin died in 1978.As a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Eunice was involved in many areas, including ladies circle and aid, Sunday School Teacher and Vacation Bible School.She was active in Community Club, VFW Auxiliary and was a Boy Scout leader. She enjoyed bridge club.Eunice, age 96, a resident of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, died on Wednesday,August 27, 2008, at her home under the care of Lakeland Hospice.Eunice is survived by her two sons: Tom (Pam) Johnson, Eagan, MN, Mark Johnson, Eagan, MN; four grandchildren:Chris (Marilyn) Johnson, Nancy (Tony) Snow, Anna Johnson, Kathryn Johnson; six great-grandchildren:Christopher Johnson, Emily Johnson, David Johnson, Matthew Snow, Catherine Snow, John Snow; sister-in-law, Marion Waller; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by parents; husband; six sisters:Margaret Everett, Ruby OConnell, Hardis Waller,Elsie Anderson, Kathryn Waller, Jane Johnson; three brothers:Harold Waller, Ralph Waller, John Petie Waller.Blessed Be The Memory Of Eunice Johnson
