Olina Monson

Olina Monson, age 90, a former resident of Pelican Rapids, who the Lord took home on January 8, 2009, in Crimora, Virginia, where she was residing with her daughter and family.Olina Betsy Swenson was born March 6, 1918, in Erhard, Minnesota, the daughter of Swen and Olga (Opsahl) Swenson.She married Kenneth Monson in 1938.They moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 1947, where they worked until they retired and then moved back to Lake Lida, Pelican Rapids.Kenneth passed away in 1989.In 1996, Olina moved to Virginia to live with her daughter.Olina is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Ardell) Krabbenhoft, Crimora, VA; one sister, Olga Bengtson, Pelican Rapids, MN; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; parents, Swen and Olga; and two brothers, Carl and Selvin.Blessed Be The Memory Of Olina Monson
