Mary Nudell

Mary Nudell, age 54, a resident of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, formerly of Enderlin, North Dakota, died on Friday, April 3, 2009, at the Midwestern Regional Medical Center (Cancer Treatment Centers of America) in Zion, Illinois.Mary Ann Metz was born September 25, 1954, in Browns Valley, Minnesota, the daughter of James and Shirley (Ziemer) Metz. Mary graduated from Browns Valley High School. On September 3, 1971, Mary was united in marriage to David Nudell in Sisseton, South Dakota. Mary and David owned and operated a farm in Enderlin, North Dakota, until 200l when they sold the business to Olson Farms. She worked for Olson Farms from 2001 to present. Mary also operated a daycare, and Mary was a clerk for the Enderlin Airport for 20 years. In the spring of 2002, they moved to Tamarac Lake, Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.In Enderlin, Mary was involved in circle and quilting at Trinity Lutheran Church, she was also a member of Tri-County Homemakers. After their move, Mary was also involved in circle and quilting at Grove Lake Church in Pelican Rapids. Mary enjoyed sewing, quilting and flower gardening. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren; they were her pride and joy.Mary is survived by her husband, David, Pelican Rapids, MN; her children: Micheal (Trina) Nudell, Leonard, ND, Michelle (Mike) Ballou, Fargo, ND, Aaron (Jill) Nudell, Casselton, ND; mother, Shirley Metz, Browns Valley, MN; two grandchildren: Owen and Kailee; two step-grandchildren: Jessica and Emily; three brothers: Robert (Karen) Metz, Browns Valley, MN, Don (Mary Kay) Metz, Donnelly, MN, David (Julie) Metz, Browns Valley, MN; mother-in-law, Dalene (Nudell) Trende, Delano, MN; two sisters-in-law: Donna (Milo) Magnan, Delano, MN and Carla (January) Medbery, Mundelein, IL; brother-in-law, Paul (Donni) Schaunaman, Browns Valley, MN, and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her father, James; infant sister, Ann; father-in-law, Dale Nudell; and sister-in-law Kathleen Schaunaman.Blessed Be The Memory Of Mary Nudell
