Wilma Wenholm

Wilma Wenholm, age 96, a resident of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, died on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at the Good Samaritan Pelican Rapids.Wilma Irene Mostue was born May 8, 1913, in Erhards Grove Township, Minnesota, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Jordahl) Mostue.Wilma attended school at District #35.She was confirmed at Bagstevold Church in Erhard.On October 2, 1938, she was united in marriage to Roy M. Wenholm in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota.Wilma and Roy resided at South Lake Lida where they farmed.Roy died September 16, 1989.In 1990, Wilma moved from the farm into Pelican Rapids.In 2003, she entered the Good Samaritan Pelican Rapids.Wilma was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church where she was active in circle.She enjoyed crocheting, baking, taking car rides, gardening, and visiting with friends and relatives.Wilma is survived by two brothers:Telford (Lois) Mostue and Orville (Marna) Mostue, Denver, CO; two step-brothers: Charles Broom and Joe Broom, Denver, CO; two sisters-in-law: Dora Mostue and Alice Mostue, Pelican Rapids, MN; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy; parents, Andrew and Anna; brothers:Arthur and Vernon; sister, Minnie Granrud; step-sister, Mary McMullen; step-sister-in-law, Nadine Broom.
