Ella Hanson, age 89, a resident of Wadena, Minnesota, formerly of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, died on Thursday, September 17, at Tri-County Hospital, Wadena.Ella Kathleen Satter was born April 23, 1920, in Pelican Rapids, the daughter of Ole and Regina (Myre) Satter.She attended country school near Pelican Rapids.On August 9, 1944, Ella was united in marriage to Jasper Hanson, in Pelican Rapids.Ella enjoyed being a homemaker while raising her children.For several years she was employed by West Central Turkey Plant. Jasper preceded her in death on July 5, 1998.After Jasper died, Ella moved to Wadena to be near her daughter.Ella was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was active in ladies aid and the V.F.W Auxiliary in Pelican Rapids.She enjoyed embroidery and was a devoted Minnesota Twins fan.Ella is survived by her son, Jerry (Kay) Hanson, Brooklyn Park, MN; daughter, Diane (Alan) Jorgensen, Wadena, MN; 5 grandchildren:Julianne (Randy) Denny, Jackye (Chad) Severts, Nicholas (Yvette) Hanson, Scott (Kathy) Jorgensen, Teri (Jamie) Larson; 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Jasper; 4 sisters: Helen Jedlicka, Evelyn Jeske, Myrtle Johnson and Marion Hanson; 4 brothers:Milford Satter, Orville Satter, Arnold Satter, and Victor Satter.Blessed Be The Memory Of Ella Hanson
