Jeanette Hanson

Jeanette Hanson, age 93, a resident of Moorhead, Minnesota, died peacefully on Friday, March 26, 2010, at her daughters home in Prior Lake, Minnesota, surrounded by her loving family.Jeanette Pauline Fredrickson was born in Scambler Township near Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, on July 10, 1916, (on her fathers birthday) the daughter of John and Johanne (Sather) Fredrickson. She grew up on the farm and attended rural schools.On July 19, 1936, she was united in marriage to Lloyd Hanson Sr.They raised four children; Jennelle, Larry, Lloyd Jr., and Vonda, while living in Pelican Rapids, Barnesville, and Moorhead.Jeanette worked as a cashier at several area businesses while raising her family. She retired at 71 years of age.Lloyd Sr. preceded her in death in 1990.Jeanette loved to dance and play Bingo.She was a member of North Immanuel Lutheran Church.Jeanette is survived by her daughters: Jennelle (Ken) Swanholm, Mesa, AZ, and Vonda (Larry) Henschke, Prior Lake, MN; son, Lloyd (Dorla) Hanson Jr., Fargo, ND; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Verna (George) Ballard, Fergus Falls, MN; many nieces and nephews; her special phone a friend niece, Glennys Stach, and her many Bingo friends.She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Johanne; husband, Lloyd Sr.; son, Larry Hanson; 4 brothers; 5 sisters; son-in-law, Ken Swanholm, and a great-great-granddaughter.Blessed Be The Memory Of Jeanette Hanson
