Rhoda Myogeto was born January 19, 1927, in Becker County, Minnesota, the daughter of Carl O. and Caroline (Herfindal) Myogeto. She was baptized, confirmed, and married at the Richwood Lutheran Church in rural Detroit Lake, Minnesota. Rhoda graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1945. Before marriage, Rhoda worked in Minneapolis, Fargo, and Detroit Lakes. On November 18, 1949, (her parent's 24th wedding anniversary)Rhoda was united in marriage to Curtis B. Sillerud. They were dairy farmers for over 40 years. After raising their children, Sue, Tom, and Connie; Rhoda was employed for several years with the Hagen Brothers John Deere dealership, she also worked for Sand's Electric and the Appliance Store. In 1994, after the death of her husband, she moved to Pelican Rapids.Rhoda was a member of North Immanuel Church where she served on the church council, taught Sunday school and vacation bible school, and was active in circle. She participated in homemakers and senior citizen organizations. Rhoda was a dedicated volunteer earning her Otter Tail County Volunteer of the Year. She loved fishing, was an avid gardener, enjoyed music, and took pleasure in dancing with her husband. Rhoda treasured spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Rhoda is survived by her daughters: Sue (Allen) Lamm, New Ulm, MN; Connie (Craig Frischman) Sillerud, Golden Valley, MN; grandchildren: Reya (Frank) Forstner, Tana Lamm, Corey Sillerud, Jenni (Adam) Johnson; great-grandchildren: Noelle and Collin Forstner and Carter Johnson; daughter-in-law, Terry Sillerud, Pelican Rapids, MN; and many nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Caroline; husband, Curtis (1990); son, Tom (2007); granddaughter, Bonnie Sillerud (1986); two brothers: Orville "Sonny" Myogeto and Roger Myogeto; a sister, Ardis Thompson; and sister-in-law, Joanne Myogeto.Blessed Be The Memory Of Rhoda SillerudFuneral Home:Larson Funeral Home304 3rd Street S.E.Pelican Rapids, MNUS 56572
