Bill Albright

William "Bill" H. Albright, Jr., age 85, died Friday, January 20, 2012 at his Pelican Rapids, Minnesota residence.Bill was born June 13, 1926 at Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, the son of William H. and Esther (Hansen) Albright. He graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1944. On June 9, 1950 in Pelican Rapids Bill was united in marriage to Georgie-Ann Thompson. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pelican Rapids. Bill was a farmer and worked the same 40 acres his father bought in 1896. He was a SAAB and John Deere lover, always tinkering with mechanics and equipment. He was an amazing woodworker and craftsman, always having new projects to do. Bill was an avid and (usually) successful hunter and fisherman. He was also a local insurance salesman for 50 years. He always had many great stories about the people he would meet. Bill's greatest pride was his family. His best friend and true help-mate was his wife of 61 years. You would usually find him at the Cornfield Caf visiting friends and discussing the events of the day.
