Garnet Johnson

Garnet Johnson, age 84, of rural Pelican Rapids, Minnesota died Saturday, June 23, 2012 at his home.Garnet Leonard Johnson was born in Norwegian Grove Township the son of Anton and Luella (Haugtvedt) Johnson. He attended country school at district #201 in Norwegian Grove Township. For many years Garnet worked with his brother on James' farm. He also worked in logging and for the city of Pelican Rapids in the utilities department. Garnet and Carol Johnson were married and had five children. Garnet enjoyed gardening, working on machinery, and making sawmills in bottles.Garnet is survived by four daughters; numerous grandchildren; a brother, Alvin Johnson, Pelican Rapids; and numerous nieces and nephews.
