JoAnne Belle Fett

JoAnne Fett, age 78, a resident of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Pelican Valley Health Center, Pelican Rapids. JoAnne Belle Fett was born September 27, 1933, the daughter of Cecil and Margaret (Tobiason) Fett, Campbell, Minnesota. At age two, the family moved to Frazee, Minnesota. JoAnne attended Frazee High School, graduating in 1951. After high school she moved to St. Paul where she worked for many years in a clerical and accounting capacity at several different companies. In 1973 JoAnne moved back to Frazee to help her mother with her ailing father. After her parents passed away she moved to Pelican Rapids to be around her niece, Melissa, and nephew, Terry. She worked at the Pelican Valley Health Center, retiring from there in 2002. JoAnne continued living in Pelican Rapids and her life revolved around her niece, Melissa, husband, Eric, and their three children, Brooke, Morgan and Alix.JoAnne was an ardent Minnesota Twins fan and followed them closely. Being able to see them in person was one of her life's highlights.She is survived by her sister, Helen; brother, Lyle (Dianne Mindermann); brother-in-law, David Thelen; sisters-in-law: Donna Fett and Shirley Fett; and many nieces and nephews. JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Margaret; brothers: Cecil and Anders; sisters: Jean, Gloria and Patricia; and nephew, Barry Thelen..Visitation: Friday, August 24, 2012, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Larson Funeral Home, Pelican Rapids, MN.
