Wynette "Nettie" L Strubbe

Wynette "Nettie" Strubbe, age 87, a resident Frazee, formerly of Pelican Rapids, MN, died on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Frazee Care Center, Frazee, MN. Wynette L. Strubbe was born October 13, 1925 in South Dakota, the daughter of Edwin and Mabel (Larson) Melberg. As a young girl she attended school near Chokio, MN. "Nettie" worked on the family farm, as well as housekeeping and farm work on neighboring farms. On September 24, 1946 she was united in marriage to Paul Stubbe at Donnelly, MN. Following their marriage they farmed near Alberta, MN, retiring in 1984. In 1990 Paul and Wynette moved to Pelican Rapids, MN. Paul died June 16, 2002. Wynette entered the Frazee Care Center December of 2012. She is survived by her son, Lynn (Linda) Strubbe, Pelican Rapids, MN, and daughter, Cora Strubbe, Fargo, ND, twelve grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Wynette was preceded in death by her husband, sons: Gary and Randy, daughter-in-law, Helen, 5 sisters, 4 brothers and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters- in-law.
