Clyde Hoadley, age 62, a resident of rural Pelican Rapids, MN, died on Sunday, July 14, 2013 at his home near Pelican Rapids.Clyde Eugene Hoadley was born in Pelican Rapids to Ralph and Marion "Kit" (Kittleson) Hoadley on August 6, 1950. He grew up near Pelican Rapids and graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1968. After high school Clyde worked for Wright Tree Service. Then he worked for ORD Manufacturing in Pelican Rapids as a foreman. On July 22, 1973 he was united in marriage to Judi Johnson at the First Congregational Church in Pelican Rapids. After his employment with ORD, he was employed by Bob Ressett as a manager at the Pelican Home Center. From 1990 to the present time he owned and operated Northwest Glass and Services in Pelican Rapids.Clyde was a member of Grove Lake Lutheran Church, former Scambler township board member, and a former Pelican Rapids Jaycee.Clyde enjoyed classic cars, fishing, and hunting, especially as a bear hunting guide in northern Minnesota.Clyde is survived by his wife, Judi in Pelican Rapids; daughter, Elizabeth Hoadley, Pelican Rapids; two sons: Jason (fiance Anissa) Hoadley, Deer Park, Texas, Jesse (Emily) Hoadley, Pelican Rapids; parents: Ralph and Marion "Kit" Hoadley, Pelican Rapids; five grandchildren: Nicholas Hoadley, Paige Martinson, Ariel Martinson, Aubry Hoadley, and Kaden Smith; two sisters: Kathy (Louie) Schmidt and Carol (Derek) Schmaltz and two brothers: Gary (Wendy) Hoadley, and Roy (Sue) Hoadley all of Pelican Rapids; mother-in-law, Alice Johnson, Pelican Rapids; sister-in-law, Carol (Doug) Lay in Wisconsin; and many nieces and nephews.Clyde was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Merlin Johnson and brother-in-law, Orrin Johnson.Memorial Gathering: Wednesday, July 17, 2013 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Pelican Rapids.Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pelican RapidsBurial: at a later date in Scambler Cemetery, Rural Pelican Rapids, Minnesota Funeral Home: Larson Funeral Home, Pelican Rapids, MinnesotaOnline Guestbook: www.larsonfuneralpelicanrapids.com
