Roger Dale Jacobson

Roger Dale Jacobson was born on December 30, 1951 to Arthur and Doris (Iverson) Jacobson in Kenmare, ND. He attended grade school in Norma and graduated from Kenmare High School in 1969. He attended NDSU in Fargo. Roger worked road construction for 40 years. The last 20 years have been with Mayo Construction of Cavalier, ND. Roger Jacobson, 62, of Mayville, ND died on Saturday, August 2, 2014. He was diagnosed with liver cancer in June of 2014, and moved to Riverfront on Main in Pelican Rapids, MN with the care of the staff at Riverfront on Main and Hospice of the Red River Valley.He is survived by three brothers: Allen of Tolley, ND, Mark (Yukari) of Yokohama, Japan, Greg of Tolley, ND, one sister Carol (Allen) Kuvaas of Pelican Rapids, MN, four nephews: Mike (Laura) Kuvaas of Hutchinson, MN, Jay (Stephanie Devitt) Kuvaas of Minneapolis, MN, Erik (Kayla) Kuvaas of Eden Prairie, MN, and his god son Nick Kuvaas, of Pelican Rapids, MN, three grandnieces: Maggie, Grace, and Eloise, and one grandnephew Soren. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother Larry (who died in Vietnam). Memorial services will be 3:00 PM, Friday, August 8, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Kenmare, ND with Pastor Cole Bentley officiating.
