Glenn Allen Fladmark

Glenn Allen Fladmark, age 58, a resident of Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014 at his residence in Pelican Rapids. Glenn Allen Fladmak was born on November 9, 1955 in Pelican Rapids the son of Evar and Laura (Braaten) Fladmark. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church. He attended Pelican Rapids School and graduating in 1974. Glenn attended Sheldon Jackson College, Sitka, Alaska and U of M Crookston, graduating with a degree in Natural Resources. He completed his 4-year degree U of M Bemidji graduating Summa Cum Laude in Criminal Justice in 1984. Glenn also received the following honors: Outstanding Academic Achievement in Criminal Justice Award, 1984, Outstanding Freshman Fisheries Student Award, 1977, Todd Opsal Memorial "True Grit" Award, 1976 and Norman Pankratz Memorial Conservation Award.He married Charlene Tollefson, they were later divorced.Glenn's Hobbies were many, collecting antiques, fishing and hunting on the treasured land in Maplewood Township.He was dearly loved by his brother, Robert Fladmark, Eagan, MN, Sisters, Sandra (Ralph) Carpenter, St. Cloud, MN and Mary (Robert) Bowers, Pelican Rapids, MN, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.Glenn is preceded in death by his parents, Evar and Laura, brother, Erwin and sister-in-law, Mary Helen Fladmark He left us too soon blessed is his memory.Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., November 1, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pelican Rapids, MNVisitation: Friday, October 31, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Larson Funeral Home, Pelican Rapids, MN.
