Lisa Marie Rudie

Lisa Marie (Baker) Rudie, age 43, of Pelican Rapids, MN, died Monday, October 19, 2015 at her home.Lisa was born October 24, 1971 in Fargo, ND the daughter of James and Donna (Ihnken) Baker. She grew up in Cormorant, on Lake Ida and attended school in Pelican Rapids, where she was crowned Sweetheart Queen, graduating with the Class of 1990. She attended Fergus Falls Community College and Minnesota State University in Moorhead earning degrees in Business Management and Business Administration.On August 9, 2002 Lisa was united in marriage to the love of her life Jeffrey "Tooter" Rudie in Las Vegas, NV. They made their home in Pelican Rapids, blending their children into a strong and loving family. Lisa worked for several businesses in the Pelican Rapids and Fergus Falls areas over the years. Presently, she was employed as an Accounting Clerk for the City of Pelican Rapids. A job in which she was honored to serve her community; and sincerely loved to do while working alongside a great team of co-workers that she thoroughly appreciated and enjoyed.Lisa poured her entire self into everything she did. She truly was an 'All or Nothing' kind of girl. Lisa's greatest achievements in life are her strong, loving marriage to Tooter, and raising her beautiful and true 'Mini Me' daughter, Taylor. Lisa was so full of enthusiasm for life, determination for success, compassion for helping others, love for family, loyalty to true friendships and spunk and sass to have as much fun as possible while living her life to the fullest. Lisa felt blessed to enjoy a whole new level of unconditional love and joy for life when she became 'Aunkie Wisa' to her special nephew Isaac Bergren, and Grandma to her precious grandchildren Harper, Maddie and Will. Lisa always had a big heart, but the love she received and shared with these special young kids in her life, truly completed her.Lisa is survived by her husband, Jeff of Pelican Rapids; daughter, Taylor Atchley, Fargo, ND; stepchildren: Josh (Nicole) Rudie, Casselton, ND; Marisa Rudie, Bismark, ND, and Casey Rudie, Aberdeen, SD; Grandchildren: Harper Rudie, Maddie and William Rudie; mother, Donna (Don) Burley, Gardner, ND; sister, Jodi (Paul) Bergren, Pelican Rapids, MN; step-brother, Scott (Amber) Jacobson, Fargo, ND; father, James (Paula) Baker, Fargo, ND; half-siblings: Natasha Baker and Casey (Brittany) Baker, Fargo, ND; father and mother-in law, Orlean and Pat Rudie, Pelican Rapids, MN; brothers-in-law: Scott (Carol) Rudie, Pipestone, MN; David (Carla) Rudie, Spicer, MN; sisters-in-law: Pam (Vaughn) Bruhn and Teresa (Erin) Anderson, of Perham, MN; and numerous wonderful and loving Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.She was preceded in death by her grandparents: William and Amy Ihnken, Anton and Hilda Baker; and uncle, Palmer Ihnken.Visitation: Friday, October 23, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at Grove Lake Lutheran Church, Pelican Rapids, MN. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
